This May 22, 2012, photo shows Kenowa Hills students and parents at a school board meeting in Walker, Mich., after 65 graduating students were suspended earlier in the day. The students participated in an organized bike ride to school, thinking they were having harmless fun, but were suspended by the principal for breaking the "no pranks" rule. The strict edict eventually caused parents, students and even the town's mayor to ask: Where should schools draw the line? The principal later apologized.
