Mayan elders leave the Santiago Atitlán Cathedral carrying communion wafers for the Catholic faithful in their villages who are unable to make the trek to attend Mass due to illness, in Santiago Atitlan, Guatemala, Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011. The elders came looking for the wafers a day early so they could stay in their respective villages to vote in Sunday’s election. Otto Perez Molina, a former military general known for his "iron fist" campaign to stop Guatemala's epidemic crime rates led the field of 10 candidates heading into Sunday's presidential election. In the most recent polls, Molina had the support of as many as 48 percent of voters, followed by businessmen Manuel Baldizon. (AP Photo/Rodrigo Abd) less
