A member of the Chilean navy stands guard at a rally against the government at the entrance of the port during a strike in Valparaiso city, about 121 km (75 miles) northwest of Santiago, January 16, 2014. Several Chilean ports are on strike, curbing metal and other shipments from the world's top copper producer. The northern port of Angamos kicked off a strike in late December 2013 to protest for stronger union organizing rights. The stoppage then spiraled as other ports joined in solidarity and in protest for what they say is police brutality against striking workers.
