Miners helping in the rescue operation of fellow trapped miners in a mine, speak to the media in San Juan de Sabinas, Mexican State of Coahuila, Wednesday, May 4, 2011. Relatives of nine missing miners trapped in a coal mine explosion that killed at least five, held a vigil Wednesday outside the mine in northern Mexico as hope of finding them alive dimmed. Rescue workers continued their search using picks, shovels and their hands to tunnel through dirt, wood, metal and rock on to reach the miners trapped 197-foot-deep (60 meters) underground. less
