Mobile TV antenna attachments, known as dongles, are displayed at the NAB Show in Las Vegas on Wednesday, April 10, 2013. On the left, an EyeTV Mobile device made by Elgato, is attached to an iPad. It sells for $83.98 on Amazon.com On the right, the Samsung Galaxy S Lightray, sold exclusively through pre-paid carrier MetroPCS for $409, has an extendable antenna embedded in the device. The miniature TV antenna, which extends about 7 inches out, attaches to iPhones and iPads via their power port, although units are being made for Android devices. After scanning the airwaves for signal, an app will display whatever is on a local TV channel in real time at something less than high-definition quality. (AP Photo/Ryan Nakashima) less
