Nepal's former King Gyanendra greets well-wishers on his 64th birthday at his residence in Katmandu, Nepal, Thursday, July 7, 2011. The former king of Nepal says he is not happy with the situation of the country in the years since monarchy was abolished and he was forced to leave the royal palace. Gyanendra was forced to give up his authoritarian rule in 2006 after weeks of pro-democracy protests and the Constituent Assembly abolished the centuries-old monarchy two years later.
