This NOAA satellite image taken Friday, August 5, 2011 at 10:45 AM EDT shows the remnants of Tropical Storm Emily over the Greater Antilles. This system is bringing heavy showers and thunderstorms across the region, while the Lesser Antilles is seeing mostly sunny skies. Meanwhile, moisture is being pushed onshore triggering scattered showers over parts of Central America. However, high pressure in the Gulf of Mexico is producing mostly sunny skies and a few clouds to the Yucatan Peninsula and the northern Central American countries.
