This NOAA satellite image taken Friday, July 15, 2011 at 1:45 PM EDT shows clouds cover Central America as well as the Gulf states. A broad trough of low pressure extends from southern Mexico to Panama, bringing moisture onshore and producing scattered showers and thunderstorms over the region. Meanwhile, a stationary front over the northern Gulf of Mexico brings more showers and thunderstorms to the Gulf states. (AP Photo/Weather Underground) less
