This NOAA satellite image taken Friday, July 22, 2011 at 1:45 PM EDT shows Tropical Depression Bret located about 375 miles north of Bermuda. The system has maximum sustained winds at 35 mph and continues moving northeastward at 21 mph. Intensification and landfall are not expected. To the north, Tropical Storm Cindy is located about 730 miles northwest of the Azores with maximum sustained winds at 50 mph. The system continues losing strength as it moves east-northeastward at 26 mph. To the south, a tropical wave approaches the Lesser Antilles, bringing scattered showers and thunderstorms to the Caribbean Islands.
