This NOAA satellite image taken Friday, March 18, 2011 at 1:30 a.m. EDT shows clouds develop over the North, while the South remains under mostly sunny skies. A low pressure system that moved through the Great Lakes reaches the extreme Northeast where it triggers scattered rain and snow showers. Meanwhile, the system pushes a front southward and stretches over the Central Plains and Midwest. This system kicks up light rain showers, while high pressure in the Southeast brings warm and dry conditions. (AP PHOTO/WEATHER UNDERGROUND) less
