This NOAA satellite image taken Friday, March 25, 2011 at 1:30 a.m. EDT shows clouds develop over the Central US, but the East remains dry as higher pressure dominates. A low pressure system in the West pushes a trough over the Rockies and into the Plains where it kicks up scattered rain and snow showers. More wet weather approaches as the West remains active.
