This NOAA satellite image taken Friday, October 15, 2010 at 10:45 AM EDT shows a large comma cloud which develops along a strong Nor\'easter spinning over the Northeastern US. The system creates a strong front over the Atlantic Ocean that can be seen by a wide band of clouds. Rainfall totals range from 1-3 inches, with a mix of snow and frozen rain at higher elevations. Winter weather advisories have been issued for most of Vermont. To the south, Tropical Depression Paula is currently located about 20 miles north of Caibarien, Cuba. The system has lost most of its strength with maximum sustained winds at 25 mph. Rain associated with this system has nearly diminished. less
