This NOAA satellite image taken Sunday, May 29, 2011 at 01:45 PM EDT shows widespread cloud cover from the Northwest through the Northern Plains and much of Wisconsin, northern Illinois, and northern Indiana. A warm front associated with a strengthening storm in the Central Rockies extends from the Central Plains through the Lower Great Lakes during the afternoon. Showers, periods of heavy rain, and thunderstorms develop to the north of this boundary in northern Illinois, southern Wisconsin, southwestern Michigan, and northwestern Indiana. There is a moderate risk of severe thunderstorm development in northern Illinois, northern Indiana, and southern lower Michigan. A slight risk of severe thunderstorm development exists to the north of this warm front and ahead of it\'s associated low pressure system in the Central Rockies. This slight risk area includes regions from the Southern High Plains through the Upper Midwest and eastward to western New England. (AP PHOTO/WEATHER UNDERGROUND) less
