This NOAA satellite image taken Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at 01:00 AM EDT shows clouds develop in the Central and Northern Plains. A low pressure system moves northeastward from the Northern Rockies and pushes a strong frontal boundary through the Central US that kicks up scattered showers and thunderstorms. Meanwhile to the south, scattered storms develop along the Gulf of Mexico due to the presence of warm and humid air. To the east, Hurricane Igor maintains its strength as a category 1 storm with winds up to 75 mph. Igor currently sits about 565 miles southwest of Cape Race, Newfoundland and will continue moving northeastward. (AP PHOTO/WEATHER UNDERGROUND) less
