This NOAA satellite image taken Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at 1:45 a.m. EDT shows a small low pressure system about 300 miles east of Charleston, South Carolina, which is producing a concentrated area of showers and thunderstorms. Farther west, a massive area of clouds extends from northern Mexico into western Texas and Oklahoma.
