In this Nov. 19, 2010 photo, Tibetan monk Lodoe Sangpo, left, cooks a traditional Tibetan dish with Tenzing Peldun, right, an Emory student from Chicago of Tibetan descent, at the off campus apartment Sangpo and five other monks share in Atlanta. Some of the newest additions to Emory University's student body may have adopted some of the behaviors of typical college kids, but one key difference separates them from their classmates: they're Tibetan monks sent by the Dalai Lama to the United States to learn science. less
