Okinawa Gov. Hirokazu Nakaima arrives for a meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Naoto Kan at the latter's official residence in Tokyo Thursday, Dec. 2, 2010. The meeting came after Nakaima's re-election to the Okinawa's top job in the gubernatorial election Sunday, Nov. 28. His return to office likely make it difficult for Tokyo to quickly move forward a planned relocation of the Marine Corps Air Station Futenma, an unpopular U.S. Marine base on the southern Japanese island, home to about half of about 50,000 U.S. troops stationed in Japan, despite the central government's agreement with Washington. less
