It's a Guinness twerk record! Over 350 perform simultaneous dance in New York

'Twerking' is the dance move which has swept the globe, and it now has a Guinness World Record. Some 358 people performed the move in New York City, breaking the record for the largest number of people twerking. According to the Oxford Dictionary, twerking is a 'dance to popular music in a sexually provocative manner involving thrusting hip movements and a low, squatting stance'. The dance originated in the mid-90s but became popular when Miley Cyrus performed it during an awards show in America. The former child star was hit with criticism due to the dance's raunchiness.
