Opposition leader Eduard Limonov, center, sit in the street during a sit-down protest in a central Moscow square, Sunday, July 31, 2011. It was the latest in a series of protests that Russian opposition leaders call on the last day of every month with 31 days. The date is a reference to the 31st Article of the Russian Constitution, which guarantees freedom of assembly. The tactic of sitting down, however, was new and appeared to be an attempt to demonstrate that the protest would be peaceful. (AP Photo/Alexander Zemlianichenko) less
