QTA01. Quetta (Pakistan), 31/07/2015.- Supporters of Jamiat Nazariyati writes a banner in Urdu 'We pay tributes to respected leader Mullah Muhammad Omar' during prayers for his departed soul in Quetta, Pakistan, 31 July 2015. The Afghan Taliban on Thursday said that Mullah Omar, the group's supreme leader, died following an illness, confirming news announced by the Afghan government one day previously. The Taliban also said Mullah Omar was living in the country when he died, to fend off accusations that he was living in Pakistan under the protection of its powerful intelligence agency. Senior deputy leader Akhtar Mansoor has now been appointed the leader of the movement. EFE/EPA/STRINGER
