A Palestinian man walks in to the 'Rachel Restaurant' in the West Bank city of Ramallah,Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010. A restaurant named in honor of pro-Palestinian activist Rachel Corrie, an American, has opened in Ramallah. Corrie was 23 when she was crushed to death by an Israeli army bulldozer in Gaza in 2003, while trying to prevent the demolition of a Palestinian home. A street in Ramallah has also been named after Corrie, and the restaurant is located on that street. The restaurant owners said they wanted to honor her for her show of solidarity with the Palestinians. less
