MAR VISTA, CA - JULY 14: 55-Year-Old Lamar Sepulveda Sets a New World Record, Running 64.35 miles on a Treadmill in 12 Hours To Raise Funds And Awareness for the Challenged Athletes Foundation. Sepulveda is the founder of the "Pay It Forward" Challenge, which uses endurance sports to raise funds and awareness for charities and to inspire others to do so. The "Treadmill Challenge" was conceived by Sepulveda as a way to celebrate his 55th birthday on July 14, 2012 in Mar Vista, California and to raise funds and awareness for the Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF), which helps the physically disabled pursue an active lifestyle through fitness and competitive athletics.
