People gather near Parliament to highlight the country's high incidence of rape and call on President Jacob Zuma to take urgent action to address this crisis while Minister of Finance Gordhan presented his budget to Parliament in Cape Town, South Africa, on Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013. Hundreds of items of women's clothing were hung on a washing line to symbolise the estimated 3,600 women assaulted on a daily basis in South Africa, one every 24 seconds. More than 130 protestors gathered, carrying banners stating '3,600 every day is a crisis. President Zuma: your budget can stop rape'.
