People walk behind a burning barricade set up to discourage looters and robbers during a police strike in Cordoba December 4, 2013. One person was killed on Wednesday and dozens were injured amid a wave of looting in shops in the wealthy province of Cordoba, in central Argentina, as police demanding for better wages and working conditions went on strike. Cordoba's Governor Jose Manuel de la Sota has offered the police a 52-percent pay increase, including bonuses for street work or extra duty, for a total of 12,600 pesos a month, local media reported.
