In this photo made June 3, 2010, Manuel Armario walks behind an unidentified friend using a walker, in the Versailles restaurant. He calls the cafe his office, joking there are three shifts of elderly men who come to the cafe - the morning, afternoon and evening shifts. He shows up in the afternoon and stays until dark. In Cuba, he worked for the electric company. As a young man, he fled Cuba with his family coming later. In exile, he bounced from one career to another. At one point, he had an ice cream truck that played the Cuban national anthem. less
