The two men were convicted of plotting attacks against western and Israeli targets, to life in prison. The two Iranian nationals Ahmad Abolfathi Mohammad and Sayed Mansour Mousavi were arrested in June 2012, and prosecutors said the two had explosives "in circumstances that indicated they were armed with the intent to commit grievous harm", and they are suspected of involvement in attacks, or thwarted attacks, around the globe, including in Azerbaijan, Thailand and India.
