In a photo provided by Tacoma Public Schools, recently retired NFL quarterback Jon Kitna, instructs algebra students at Lincoln High School in Tacoma, Wash., Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2012. This was Kitna's first day as a public school teacher. After his retirement from the Dallas Cowboys, Kitna chose to return to his Tacoma roots and become a math teacher and lead the high school's football team. When asked by students why he chose to become a public school teacher, he said, "I want to be around young people who I can influence the same way great teachers influenced me."
