In this photo provided by the US Navy, an honor guard from Navy Operational Support Center Pittsburgh renders honors to the remains of Chief Petty Officer Nicholas H. Null at the Woods Valley Regional Airport on Friday, Aug. 19, 2011 in Parkersburg, W. Va. Null was among 30 Americans killed when insurgents shot down their helicopter in Afghanistan. The 30-year-old Wood County native was an explosive ordnance disposal technician. Null served in Iraq and Afghanistan and earned two Bronze Stars, one with valor.
