In this photo released by the Florida Keys News Bureau, James Byler, right, an inactive U.S. Marine, caresses a dolphin Friday, Jan. 14, 2011, with Mandy Rodriguez at the Florida Keys-based Dolphin Research Center near Marathon, Fla. Byler was one of about 30 wounded veterans of wars in Iraq and Afghanistan that stopped at the facility during Soldier Ride, a bicycle activity down the Florida Keys Overseas Highway staged by the Wounded Warrior Project to provide inspiration and raise funds for injured comrades recovering in American military hospitals. Byler lost his legs in Afghanistan in November 2010. less
