This photo shows the chemical weapons incinerator at the Anniston Army Depot at Anniston, Ala., on May 29, 2008. Army officials say they're pushing back the expected completion date for destroying a stockpile of old chemical weapons in Anniston to September. Earlier, the officials had predicted that the process would be completed in June. Army spokesman Mike Abrams said Wednesday, May 25, 2011 that the static detonation chamber used to handle detonations is a little slower than expected. Abrams says more than 450 chemical weapons from the 1940s have been detonated in the chamber since its installation in September 2010. less
