In this photograph provided by Carol Wilkins, Willie Wilkins is seen at the age of 21 during an event at Newark City Hall in which his dog tags, which he lost while serving in a U.S. Army Quartermaster Truck Company in the invasion of Southern France in August 1944, were returned to him, Wednesday, May 8, 2013, in Newark, N.J. The dog tags were lost in 1944 and were found by Anne-Marie Crespo, a resident of Istres, who was digging in her garden in 2001. The event, which was held as a surprise for Wilkins, 90, also marked the 68th anniversary of V-E Day, the end of World War II in Europe. (AP Photo/Courtesy of Carol Wilkins) less
