The 'Toro de la Vega' festival began on September 17, 2013 in Tordesillas, Spain with the goring of a photographer by a 1000 lb. bull named Vulcano. According to a representative from the Red Cross, the photographer, who was gored in his right thigh, is expected to recover. Twelve people were said to be injured during the event. Once the bull arrives to the plain from the village it is killed with lances to honor the 'Virgen de la Pena'. The festival, which has roots in the 15th century is one of the oldest traditions in Spain. (Yahoo News)
