A parade commander of new recruits of the Indian Air Force (IAF) marches during their passing out parade ceremony in Bangalore, India, Friday, Sept. 27, 2013. The IAF was established on Oct. 8, 1932 as an auxiliary air force of the British Empire. The IAF has a strength of over 120,000 personnel, meant to defend Indian airspace and are also deployed for United Nations missions. Total 840 cadets passed out Friday at the academy.
