In this picture taken Aug. 3, 2011, Jose Graziano da Silva, the new Director-General of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), reacts during a news conference at Itamaraty palace in Brasilia, Brazil. Graziano, a former Brazilian food security minister, is one of the creators of the nation's "Zero Hunger" social programs which includes "Bolsa Familia" or "Family Grant", the biggest program that gives money directly to poor households. That same idea may now get a global tryout as world food prices spike, economies everywhere sputter and a horrific famine desolates East Africa. (AP Photo/Eraldo Peres)? less
