In this picture taken July 22, 2011, people eat at a popular restaurant sponsored by the Brazilian government in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Jose Graziano da Silva, the new Director-General of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and former Brazilian food security minister, is one of the creators of the nation's "Zero Hunger" social programs which includes "Bolsa Familia" or "Family Grant", the biggest program that gives money directly to poor households. That same idea may now get a global tryout as world food prices spike, economies everywhere sputter and a horrific famine desolates East Africa. (AP Photo/Andre Penner) less
