In this picture taken May 10, 2011, community health volunteers Hilaire Etienne, center, and Michel Raphael, right, weigh and examine a child for signs of malnutrition in the rural Kenscoff area, Haiti. Haiti has long struggled with malnutrition, which UNICEF says is responsible for about 60 percent of all deaths in people under 18 in the country. The exact number of malnourished kids in Haiti is unknown, but health workers believe there are thousands of malnourished children, mostly in hard-to-reach rural areas, slowly suffering out of sight of the massive humanitarian effort in the capital. less
