In this picture taken May 6, 2011, a woman gives a handful of rice and beans to her son, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Haiti has long struggled with malnutrition, which UNICEF says is responsible for about 60 percent of all deaths in people under 18 in the country. The exact number of malnourished kids in Haiti is unknown, but health workers believe there are thousands of malnourished children, mostly in hard-to-reach rural areas, slowly suffering out of sight of the massive humanitarian effort in the capital. less
