On November 13, 2011 the Australian national team was thrown out the kabaddi "World Cup" in India after failing multiple drugs tests as the tournament struggles to overcome a series of doping scandals. Kabaddi, a team sport which originated in the Indian sub-continent, involves team members making 'raids' into the opposing team's territory on a playing field in an attempt to 'tag' opponents while holding one's breath.
