Police stand next to weapons used by Jose Miranda, a 50-year-old farmer and his 17-year-old son, during a hostage taking of an evangelical group during their midnight vigil, in Guazapa, El Salvador, Sunday July 31, 2011. The father and son held about 30 hostages captive at an evangelical church in Guazapa, on the outskirts of San Salvador. Miranda said they took the Christian group captive to get attention for the injustices he believes the country's children are suffering. Elite forces ended the five-hour hostage situation peacefully.
