Pussy Riot performs in Brooklyn

As part of a star-studded concert event hosted by Amnesty International, two members of Russian punk band Pussy Riot took to the stage in New York City on Feb. 5, 2014. Nadezhda Tolokonnikova and Maria Alyokhina, who were both jailed following charges of hooliganism for singing anti-Putin protest songs in a church, took to the stage and discussed the oppression of dissident voices in Russia.
