GREAT BUDWORTH, ENGLAND - MAY 25: Union flags and character scarecrows adorn the cottages in the English village of Great Budworth in preparation for next week's Diamond Jubilee celebrations on May 25, 2012 in Great Budworth, England. The villagers will be lighting a jubilee beacon, holding their own church garden party, a scarecrow competition judged by Viscount Ashbrook, maypole dancing and all the traditional festivities of a village jubilee party. The village is centuries old with the first recording of a village church in the domesday book in 1087. A school has also existed there since 1563. Most of the vilage was owned by nearby Arley Hall, who would collect the rents. (Photo by Christopher Furlong/Getty Images) less
