Annapurna Marathon on June 3, 2011. The marathon starts at Annapurna 1 Base camp at 4,700 metres above sea level and concludes at Dhampus at 1,600 metres. Tirtha Bahadur Tamang won of the first Annapurna Marathon, covering a total distance of 42.196 kilometers from Annapurna base camp to Dhampus in 4 hours, 23 minutes and 21 seconds.
