Roman Catholic bishops take their oaths at a Philippine Senate hearing in Manila Philippines, Wednesday, July 13, 2011. Senators questioned bishops embroiled in a scandal involving allegedly inappropriate donations from the government's lotto operator, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO). The donations took place during the administration of former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo who has courted several influential bishops while she faced public protests and fended off several coup attempts on charges of electoral cheating and corruption. The bishops are, from left, Juan de Dios Pueblos, Leopoldo Jaucian, Auxilliary Bishop David William Antonio who is representing Bishop Ernesto Salgado, Rodolfo Beltran, Archbishop Orlando Quevedo, Archbishop Romulo Valles and Martin Jumoad.
