Rutger de Graaf (R), 38, who was stricken with Primary Lateral Sclerosis (PLS) for 20 years, gets ready to participate in the Amsterdam City Swim in Amsterdam September 8, 2013. De Graaf is the first disabled person to participate in the swim. The Amsterdam City Swim is held to raise money for research into Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
