SALVADOR, BRAZIL - JANUARY 12: An Olodum band member holds his drum after performing in the street on January 12, 2014 in Salvador, Brazil. Salvador, the original capital of Brazil, will host six matches during the month-long 2014 FIFA World Cup which begins June 12. Salvador was the main port of entry in Brazil for African slave labor, receiving around 1.3 million Africans before slavery was abolished in Brazil. Salvador remains about 80 percent Afro-Brazilian today. (Photo by Mario Tama/Getty Images) less
