Seagulls swim alongside abandoned cars on the flooded Harbour Road in Helsingborg, Southern Sweden, December 6, 2013. Winter storm Sven hit Southern Sweden on Thursday night, claiming one life, littering roads with uprooted trees, stalling trains, and leaving tens of thousands without power. Sven, which is known as Xaver in other parts of Europe, has brought the death toll from the hurricane-force storm to six on Friday as it sweeps across northern Europe when high winds hurled a tree limb against a car, killing three people, local emergency services said.
