Security officials guard outside a special court formed to try former Pakistani president Pervez Musharraf for treason in Islamabad February 18, 2014. Musharraf, 70, arrived in court to face treason charges on Tuesday, a victory for the country's increasingly assertive judiciary after months of delays. He faces the death penalty if found guilty of charges related to his suspension of the constitution and imposition of emergency rule in 2007, when he was trying to extend his rule as president.
