A small group of well wishers hold a banner in support of the awarding of this year's Nobel Peace Prize to jailed Chinese dissident Liu Xiaobo in a street in Oslo, Norway Friday Dec. 10, 2010. Chinese dissident Liu Xiaobo, imprisoned in his own country, won't be picking up the $1.4 million prestigious award and neither will any of his family, including his wife Liu Xia, who are under house arrest. Friday will be the first time the peace prize will not be handed out since 1936, when Adolf Hitler prevented German pacifist Carl von Ossietzky from accepting the award. The 54-year-old Liu will be represented by an empty chair. less
