Smoke fills the air after a military truck fumigated against a mosquito-borne virus in Havana, Cuba, at sunrise on Tuesday, June 24, 2014. Last week Cuban authorities say they confirmed six cases of the chikungunya virus in people who had traveled to Haiti and the Dominican Republic. The virus can only spread to humans if an infected mosquito bites someone. It cannot spread human to human. Symptoms include high fever, chills, joint pain and a rash that can last up four days.
