Smoke rises from chimney stacks at Ekokem AB's hazardous waste treatment plant in Riihimaki, Finland, in this photo dated January 23 2014. Ekokem AB of Finland and Veolia of France, have won contracts for the transport, treatment and disposal of Syria's chemical stockpile, the global watchdog OPCW (The Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons) announced on Friday Feb. 14, 2014. According to information released by OPCW, Ekokem and Veolia will undertake the full destruction of Syrian chemical weapons within the agreed timelines.
